Save $150 on Summer Camp if Booked by February 28th
Roer’s Zoofari will offer two weeks of Summer Camp this year. The dates are June 17-21 and June 24-28. Camp will be held 9am to 3pm. Each week campers can expect hands-on animal encounters mixed with opportunities to express themselves creatively through art and language. Students must bring a sac lunch, though snacks are provided. Cost: $400/week for Pass Holders; $500/week for Non Pass Holders; Early Bird Special: $350 if booked by February 28th.
The theme for June 17th-21st will be Amazing Animal Adaptations and will explore animals and their habitat, and look at both natural and captive environments. Campers can expect to create their own habitats as well enhance the zoo animal habitats with keeper-lead enrichment projects. This camp is best suited for children age 5 to 10. Older children are welcome to attend.
The theme for June 24th-28th will be Cool Careers with Animals and will introduce campers to a variety of career fields that involve animals from farmers, animal keepers and zoologists, to animal photographers/videographers, field biologists and veterinarians. Campers can expect to participate in the husbandry routine at the zoo, conservation research projects, as well as meet guests from a variety of zoo fields and learn about what they do and the educations that prepared them. This camp is best suited for children age 10 to 14. Younger children are welcome to attend.
Camp fees includes t-shirts, water bottle, daily snack and a camel ride. Limited availability, only 40 campers per week, only $350 if booked by 2/28/19! Discounts available for season pass holders, $400. Camps are conducted Mon-Fri.
